Duke Condos – A Preconstruction Complex in Downtown Toronto

Sitting pretty and modern looking, Duke Condos is a new preconstruction complex located at 2800 Dundas Street West in downtown Toronto. The condos are set for completion in 2015 and the 92 apartments and condos are expected to sell from about CAD $210,000 upwards. The area is thriving with many restaurants, bars, a railway station and good public transport links on its doorstep. The huge green area of High Park is less than a five minute walk away and the shoreline is just quarter of a mile through the Sunnyside and Parkdale areas of the city.

Duke is being developed by Toronto-based TAS who has already started work on two similar projects in Toronto including the condo complex at Campbell Avenue, which is in the preconstruction stage and the C. M5V tower in King Street West, which is a completed project where every condo sold out.

Duke Condos will have just six storeys with ceiling heights of up to 9 feet and a rather comfortable 450 square feet as a minimum in each condo or apartment. There is an exercise room being planned for residents’ use and a party room or function area.

Sales for condos and apartments at Duke are expected to go on general sale either in the fall or winter of 2013 and completion of this construction is expected in the winter of 2015. Currently the complex is at the registration phase, so interested parties should look at visiting the sales centre to register an interest in buying a condo or apartment here.

The sales centre is due to open on October 5 this year and here you will be able to see a scale model of the Duke complex and some exhibition rooms that will emulate the inside of the Duke apartments.

It is well known that The Junction area is one of the most thriving and buzzing areas in Toronto. It has a busy commercial street and a tight-knit community. It is also an area that is very bike-friendly with short lanes designated along many of the streets purely for the use of cyclists. The area is the best place for soaking up a great atmosphere in its many craft beer bars, restaurants, art houses and salvage shops.

Currently the developer TAS is spearheading a project where it is building a relationship with the local community here and not just building condos.
